hey guys ive been haven trouble with my vtec for sometime now.00 civic si b16a2 stock. i changed the pressure switch and check the silnoid. i have a CEL it comes up as vtec pressure curciut fault bank 1. it wont go pass 6500. but i relized when my engine is cold. the vtec works. with the cel on. as my temp rises. sometime the vtec wont kick in but allow me to still rev to 8-8500. but once im at my reg temp the vtec stops. thats some opposite stuff no"? isnt ur car sopose to be normal temp for the vtec to kick in. like it need the heat. but isntead mine is kicking in when its cold?

anyone have an idea what it could be? ecu? any kind of senser?

You shouldnt be redlining it when its cold, thats how you kill your rings FYI. I am not sure about that code, does that code mean the pressure switch is bad or is it that the circuit in the ECU has a issue. Are you low on oil?
