Weak starting car, Wont turn over?
Hey I did the auto to 5spd conversion the other day with a few of my friends and I got everything to geather (minus a tranny bracket) and I went to go start the car and the starter just clicked. (I bought the starter used from a friend) So I went to autozone and got a news starter and had my battery checked out (14.1v) Battery was GOOD. Installed the new starter and tryed starting my car again, sounded like it was a little stronger but still didnt sound right, I made sure there is a ground wire from the tranny to the frame of the car, the starter wire from the battery is on the starter, along with the wire next to the starter wire. (Im guesing thats the starter signal) I checked my fuse's today, None were bad or broken. I had knocked off a plug on the Dizzy cap the other day so I replaced the cap and rotor today off that dizzy and that didnt help at all. I was thinking maybe the tranny mount would be a ground for the tranny buy the tranny mount is put onto a rubber mount so I dont think that is it. Any help? before I did the swap, the car ran 100% fine! Helpp I need my car tomorrow for work!
EDIT:
It sounds like the car is being started in gear but the car is in neutral. Maybe I could of installed the clutch and flywheel wrong maybe? The car is on jackstands right now so when I start the car the wheels dont spin so I dont think the clutch maybe is engaged? Helpp

Re: (jz98ctr)
Y,M,M?
The engine was a jdm d15b and is a jdm d15b still.
I have the tranny ground there still. It seems to me to be something stupied im forgetting to do but I guess its not =\ helpp
Yes its getting fuel,
did not check about spark but will tomorrow.
Its more or less the problem that the starter sounds weak. Not thats its not starting.

fluid in the tranny and everything deat? it could just be because you just threw everything together and it all needs a break in. if its possible try jumping it and see what happens

did you rememeber to wire in the shifter lock for the old automatic. if not this won't allow the car to start cuz it thinks it's in D.

can u take a cam phone video? all i can think of is try dylans battery and battery cables or something, maybe theres a bad terminal on the batter? youre not gettin power out from the battery. when you put the key in the ignition weith the door open, is the beeping sound loud or weak? if thats weak then your not gettin power from the battery

Tranny oil is not going to cause the issue. Put a multimeter on the starter to see if your getting the 12 volts to it.
