Water Temp gauge sensor
the sensor leed on the autometer water temp gauge i bought is too short, is there a way to lengthen the line so that i can actually get it to my radiator hoses???????

Let me take a wild guess....your water temp gauge is electrical. You can tap in the wire for the water temp at your gauge cluster (yellow w/ green stripe). Just cut the wire near the cluster plug and connect/solder into that wire coming from engine. Do not leave the cluster wire attach or it will throw a wrong reading!!!!!!

nope it's mechanical. copper wire to a sensor that i need to put into the radiator hose. i just recently discovered it's a copper wire and bouth a peice of wire today. hopefully have it taken care of sometime this week. friday at the latest.
