Water Temp gauge??
I'm in the process of installing my autometer water temp and I was curious... If I take out the stock sending unit and replace it with my sending unit will this affect the computer reading?

Re: Water Temp gauge??
I'd just take off the upper neck or lower water pipe and have it tapped and threaded...keep both and its super easy to do. A shop should charge you like $20-50, even tho it doesn't take that long at all...You can take them the part. They drill and tap, 10 mins later they hand it back to you haha

leave the 2 wire sensor alone thats the ECT the ecu needs. the single wire sensor is the gauge sender. you can put it there only the stock gauge wont work any more.

Re: Water Temp gauge??
That's why I recommend just tapping for a gauge temp sensor. I like having the stock one running as a backup just in case haha
