All around the Puget Sound car theft is an issue.
I had a friend in the South Puget Sound area who's stock black ITR was stolen, stripped (left the rear speakers, rear seatbelts and some under dash wiring and climate control pieces) and then the quarter panel stickers were cut out and the entire car cut up before each big piece was left about a mile apart down I5.
My car got stolen a few years back too, but I was lucky enough that kids just stole it, so it wasn't damaged too badly and it was recovered.

I can't stand thiefs, that's good that they didn't take off with your ride man, too bad about your friends though.

OP, glad your car didn't get jacked. But I think it was a noob thief as a clutch lock won't stop a good thief. I would invest in an alarm and install it in a stealth mannor with a backup battery.
Most alarm installs put the brain in visable sight under the steering column. This gives the thief quick access to disable it..most alarm installs don't have a hoodpin or a backup battery, the thief pops your hood, disconnects your battery, breaks in, disconnects the alarm and then plugs the battery back in, the alarm never tripped because there was no backup battery. Plus a hood pin trips the alarm as soon as the hood is popped and with a backup battery when he runs over to yank the battery cable off, the alarm keeps right on singing.
