VSS issues
Hello.
Have three vss untis. tried all three. one of which works kinda, if im going 40mph it moves up to around 20mph and twitches. the other untis do nothing, dead speedo. when i go in reverse it works great and accurate.
whats the deal? cluster? wiring check good, 12v and good ground to the VSS. when i hook it up to the scan tool and do a hertz test, i cant get anything out of any sensor i try. maybe i just cant turn it fast enough wiht my fingers?
Worked fine for years, one day backing out of driveway i noticed that it was jumping all over, then fell dead. either f or h series dont work.
any tips or thoughts please.
TIA

I don't think he was serious.
Is the VSS connector corroded? Have inspected the wires? Have you inspected the gauge cluster?
