i have a 92 honda civic cx with a d15b7 from a 94 dx and i was just wondering how can you tell if your voltage regulator is going out? im just wondering in general i dont really know what symptoms of it would be thats why im just asking

Lights brightening and dimming?

Have you measured voltage across the battery posts with the engine running without and with electrical load?

i havent done that i dont have a multi meter anymore but when im driving at night and the headlights are on theyre dim and so are the dash lights but if i turn my heater on to low the lights get a lot brighter........ lol idk if thats an electrical problem or if its possibilities of the voltage regulator

Don't guess. Do some voltage tests or have a shop or auto parts store test the alternator.

okay will do i gotta flush my radiator today and then ill go to autozone lol
