first race of the night and right after i take off.. my steering wheel starts shaking like crazy.

if i coast into neutral the shaking stops.

if i put it into gear, it starts shaking again.

what should i check????

i dont think its the axles, could this be from breaking a rear motor mount?

how do you know he is street racing? could have been the track.

The bad shaking could be a blown tire, it happens when you do burnouts too much on stock tires or if you race it too much. Could be an axle too but then the car would only accelerate towards the side with the working axle, kinda dangerous if you ask me.

well its definitly not a blown tire . lol

i dont think it could be the axle bc when i coast in neutral it stops shaking, this is happening at 30+ mph or when i hit full throttle.

inspect your mounts?

how to inspect - pull e-brake, put in 1st, slowly engage, have a friend watch the engine, if it shakes, it's your mounts.
