Default Valves And Cam

Im about to Re do all my valvesprings and what not and get a new cam all skunk 2 parts, but what im worried about is if i build up the top part of my block will my pistons screw up and melt or will the bottom of the block just go out since it cant take the new parts?

I have done what you are thinking of doing on a motor w/ 205k on the motor and it woked fine no bottom end problems. I have also done one that I had my friend spend the extra money and re-do the piston rings and bearings his motor ran great and he has put 150k miles on that motor after the repairs. so a little extra money may save alot later.
