valve seal question
ive noticed in the workshop manual that intake valve seal and exhaust valve seals are not interchangable. The seal with the white springs are for the intake whilst the ones with black are for exhaust.
the thing is im giving my d15z7 3 stage vtec a total rebuild ,im not skimping over any details,im doing everything myself follwing the workshop manual step by step including cleaning all parts to a factory finish , im tired of being [freak]ed around by so called "experts" who dont even bother to use a torque wrench and scavenge all ur hard earned moola
now.... back to my question , what is the difference between the two valve seals , and what happens if u install them in a haphazard order ??,i have made this mistake and am willing to purchase new ones and reinstall if its really gonna affect my car

Re: valve seal question (nightshift147)
one set of seals is a little larger then the other. So you will end up with an oil leak if you get the on the wrong valve
