Question about valve seals. what are the correct part nos for the intake and exhaust seals for the B18C1? which ones have the white and which ones the black springs on them?

I ordered from AHMotorsports in PA and I wonder too if they overcharged me at $1.25 per seal. List prices on other sites appear to be $.75 a piece and sell for even less than that!

 

Are you going to change your valve seals yourself?? Is it a difficult procedure? I think my valve seals are shot and I don't know how much it'll be to fix the problem. Any info would be great thanks.

 

I cant help you with the pricing. I get them with the upper gasket sets.
The white ones go on intake and black go on exhaust.

 

White on intake...black on exhaust was what I was going to install as well.

The car wasn't smoking on startup, so I didn't bother changing them.

 

honda has two different valve stem seals(in/ex) made by two different companies. one lists for about $1 and the other for about $5. i dont know what the difference is between the two or why one cost so much more than the other.
