i forgot to mention this is a vaf 2 if that matters. i figured out how to hook it all up and everything but there is a spot in the initialize where it says to choose between 1,2, and 3 types of vtec. 1 is 3000-7000, 2 is 3000-6000, and 3 is 2000-6000. i have no idea which one to choose from for a nearly stock gsr.

Oh...I think that...I have no idea....ask around...free bump for you. I would check out the Apex'i website for some help. They usually have FAQ's for all their products.

yeah it just says how to set it but it doesnt say which one is for our vechicle. the way i am taking it is that you can adjust the vtec between those certain rpms if you choose the number which corresponds with that for example #1 is something like 3000-7000 and # 2 is 3000-6000 or something which i assume you can adjust the vtec anywhere inbetween that range, this is just my guess and thats why i need help

If you find out what the stock switch over is then you can find out what to set it at. Look for low to high cam settings and high to low cam settings.
