VAFC or Vtec ecu
i just finished my ls/vtec setup and i was just wondering what would be a better route to go with to control my vtec. a VAFC, a chipped ecu, or stock b16,b18c ecu? thanks for the help, and the search button aint my friend.

Difficult to say. My friend with LS/VTEC runs a chipped P28 with a skunk2 program and it feels REALLY good. The BEST setup would be to get a P28 and then a VAFC and have it tuned. Depends on your budget.

go with the vafc and have it tuned by a capable tuner. it gives more freedom not to mention it looks tight.

from what i've seen on like a Apexi VAFC it looks like you have to have a vtec ecu to wire it with, plus on a non-vtec ecu it wont richen it up for vtec

no, the vfac can be wired directly to your vtec silionoid and vfac is a fuel controller as well as a vtec controller too so you can adjust your fuel with the vfac and your non-vtec ecu fuel maps dont matter...
