Default unorthodox racing pulley questions

i have a b16a with i/h/e/s2im i wanna finish all the bolt ons and came across this http://www.eraceparts.com/itemf621-2...2&PRID=1553974

do they actually give you any horsepower or is it just a waste of money ?

They'll give you a little bit of power. But nobody here will consciously let you put that on your engine. There's no dampening on those pulleys, which will cause excessive crank vibrations, and eventually kill your engine.

You can achieve the same effect (without potential damage) by using a lightweight flywheel, or by having your crankshaft knife edged and balanced.

Id suggest replacing your clutch if you haven't already with a grabbier aftermarket setup, and throw in the lightweight flywheel at the same time. That's a good complimentary upgrade to what you already have.

the b16b has a lightwieght crank pully also (ek9 civic type r)

yeah if you don't want power steering or ac...
it's a lighter pulley because it's a single pulley
