Is it stripped or broken ?. Stripped means re-tap - maybe to next size. Broken = EZ-out..........not always ez. If enough is exposed you may be able to put a notch in it on one side/edge and unthread it by tapping it with a very small chisel. ?

the bolt head is stripped so i cant get the bolt out. i was thinkin of using one of those craftsman bolt exctractor kits but i dont know if that will work on something thats torqued down that much.

that sucks soo bad...i did the same exact thing..i just used one of those little grinders with a 3" disc and grinded the head of the bolt off and i was able to get the plastic timing belt cover off..and then i got vise grips and turned it and i tcam off pretty easily. go buy a new one from honda and you're good. be careful not to grind into the tensioner itself!! this way worked for me.

You've got to be really careful and patient the first time you use extractors or bolt-outs. They can **** you off, but if you use them correctly they DO work.

This is my craftsman bolt out set. It works great. Cost me about $50 to $60. Great investment though. Fits 10mm to 19mm. They have other sets also.

The instructions say to get the size that fits just onto the head of the bolt. Doing so allows the bolt out to dig down into the metal. Thats how it works. You will need to replace the bolt.

well it fit just on the head of the bolt but sometimes it doesnt wanna grab, so you have to make it grab, either way the bolt came out fine
