Default type R swap em1

so do you guy think it would be hard to get a b18c5 to pass all the smog BS and be legal.........cuz my em1 pass's smog right now and if i but the ITR swap it should to right?.......

well b18c5's are obd2.
your car is obd2.

i think you should be fine with the right ecu.

its hard to get jdm engines to pass smog in cali. its risky. i got some homies that cant get the same b18 smogged. b16's r easier to pass. but there is redline shop in sac thaat im sure can tune it to pass. or get an illegal smog

go to a smog state first and ask whats needed to pass, so you can have a idea.

since it is a usdm motor it will have a lil easer time passing the nox test then the jdm motors cuzz they are almost always higher compression then the usdm motors
