Default type r head swap?

i have a b16a2 that i want to boost eventually but in the mean time i wanted a little more power, i was considering swapping on a type r head, will it be a direct bolt on or are there major modifications needed, also would it be good for my boosting plans?

i don't think it would be good for your boosting needs, i would keep your b16 head and put GSR cams in it that is what most people run but the valvesprings, and retainers and whatnot are nice though i would just save money for boost like said above.
