Just installed a turbo XS knock-light inside the ek coupe. I tapped what I believe are all the right wires (requires 12v, gnd, rpm sig, and knock sig).

I know i got all but the knock wire wired correctly. Here are picks of what I believe was the KS wire i was supposed to tap on the ECU and the K-light mounted to steering column plastic....

I set the K-light to its most sensitive setting, and still nothing. I have worn LMA's ticking allover the place and nothing!!! whats going on? You think that wire tap i used (the red block looking thing) didn't tap into the wires? How can I test it? Does the Honda Knock Sensor just completely suck ***? Am i just not knocking on my B16A? What if I hit the block underneath the Intake manifold with a wrench...to simulate knock...would it go off then??? I'm pist off that its not working the way i thought. Any suggestions are appreciated. On the bright side...the shift-light on the unit works like a dream

I Tapped the A/C Wire in Connector C...........



Both the A/C and KS are listed in the Haynes Manual as a Red/Blue Wire....Why Honda... Whyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

I just got back from tapping the proper wire in connector D....still nothing!!! I don't know whether to be happy cause there's no knock, or suspicious as to why even on the units ,most sensitive setting I don't see atleast the amber light come on signaling mild knock when my LMA's start ticking. Anyway how can I check if the wire is getting a signal or not from the knock sensor??
