Turbo Question
ok. starting the actuall machine phse of my b18c1 turbo project for the delsol. now, i have the turbo kit, new pistons/rods and rings. cylinder braces. getting ready to go have all the machine work done. the question i have now... is sleeving it recommended? or required?

Depends really on how much power you want out of it, and as said if your oversizing the pistons at all. Id say up to about 250, MAYBE 300hp you wouldnt have to sleeve it. But after that I would sleeve it for sure.

if you are going to stay with a 81-82mm bored stock sleeves are ok u can make a ton of power on stock sleeves i personally know people with 550whp+ on stock sleeves. The only problem with stock sleeves is that they dont like detonation. if you are going to make 500whp and under i would stay with stock sleeves i plan on making 400whp+ on pump gas with my setup and i am going to use stock sleeves
