Turbo HX
i am pondering the idea of turboing my HX just to get a few extra ponies out of her...im not looking to put down any serious numbers. Just wondering what would be the best turbo KIT to buy...Greddy with E-manage seems ok but will that piggy back work with the HX ecu???? thanks!!

If I were you I'd do a head swap before I boosted it.
The VTEC-E system is just...really, really shitty. Spooling a turbo on 12 valves? no thanks

I guess.
I turbo'd my HX and I LOVED it. It was really fun. I ran 7psi daily and turned it up to 10 a few times. I used the greddy kit and AFC Hack. The hack made the car run like **** until I adjusted the timing witht her dizzy. The 2nd time I was going to use a chipped ECU but I stopped working, so I sold everything.
Personally I would build your own kit unless you can find a greddy kit for cheap. If you bargain hunt, you can get some good deals. I set my budget for $1400 (tuning not included...seperate budget for that) and I came out with a chipped ecu, a laptop for tuning, gauges, turbo, abs plastic to make my own gauge pods, intake for the turbo, fluids to change when I went turbo, ARP headbolts, FMIC, piping, etc basically everything you get in a kit plus more for $1400 which isnt bad since the greddy doesnt come with an FMIC or 450cc injectors, etc.

Re: (FlatCivic)
i made the kit i used to fabricate. and since ur not looking for anything fancy. dont bother with management. missing link and fmu, i know it sounds old and stu8pid now a days but its not a bad thing to use for little kit. the i made was pretty quick.
