I plan on putting a t3 turbo on my civic in the spring, I have a 1.6 vtec in a 94 civic but I want to buy an exhaust for now, what should I buy, will any 2 1/2 or 3" exhaust N1 catback exhaust work for now and later with the turbo. Thanks!

i got a 3" apex N1 one my EKhatch. and its turbo charged. go for it man!

Thanks, I was leaning toward 3" but someone told me today 2 1/2" would give more low end torque? What have you heard? What other mods do you have done? Thanks!

If its boosted, it really doesnt matter how big the pipe is AFTER the turbo, cause you want the turbine to wind up as fast as it can without having to fight thru some narrow *** pipe.

Either will be decent, though one of the most common off-the-shelf turbo exhausts seems to be the 3" Thermal system.

well, before i boosted my ride i had it set-up w/3" N1 on a n/a motor, the piping was 2"1/2 but later i upgraded to 3" piping from down pipe to muffler. makes a hole lot difference.
