Default Quiet exhausts

Im currently running Apex-i N1 on a testpipe..and well Im getting a turbo at the beginning of summer and im lookin into getting a new exhaust. I know the worldsport is a good and quiet exhaust, but i dont really wanna spend 400 on an exhaust system only to NOT use the piping and just get 3inch piping with the same muffler...

so what i wanna know is what is a good muffler that is quiet when paired with a turbo w/ turbo exhaust piping. Im not lookin at buying a whole catback such as the World Sport, but if it comes down to that I will.

im pretty sure that any turbo exhaust is quite b/c the frequency of the turbo cancles out the the exhaust tone or something of that nature, plus i think all turbo exhausts will have a straight through muffler design w/ a big ol' tip b/c the fi setup needs the good flow. i dont know much about fi but id say stick w/ the n1 in the larger turbo size, you could probibly sell yours for a decent price too.

if u can find, the RS*R Indivia is the best if you've got an eclipse, or civic... nice mellow tone, not obnoxious, and not bling bling ugly... i even went as far as painting the canister black...

A turbocharger will lower the noise because it adds backpressure. The less backpressure, the louder the exhaust will be.

Honestly, having 3" piping and then sticking a 2.3" muffler on it is pointless. Get a thermal 3" or any other turbo exhaust. That should do the trick.

I will join in and be the third person to recommend Thermal R&D as good turbo exhaust.

I have had a Thermal classic and a Thermal stealth catback. There is no way they can be classified as quiet.
