Re: Turbo B18C-R?
You can turbo one , but in all honesty I'd get a B18C GSR and turbo it instead.
Type R's have higher compression than the GSRs you'd have to bring down the compression for safer detonation.
Don't get me wrong you can turbo these all day long.
If you already have a Type R then find a good shop that does Honda Turbo installs, they'll lead you along the way. The basic thing is to bring down the compression.
If you have a little more money you can explore the all motor option for the Type R if you have a modest goal of 300whp.
These guys did my cousin's teg , they safely turbo'd a Type R

Made over 400 WHP STOCK ITR on 1000ccs and E85. Oh yeah 12 lbs from a 35R safe tune by the best..over a year now still running strong.
Did have headstuds though.

Re: Turbo B18C-R?
are you insane? both the gsr and itr/ctr motors are high compression engines, unless you're swapping for low compression pistons AND plan to do alot of tuning you're asking for a streak of oil in the street behind you.

^ um no, there are a number of stock gsr's itr's and ctr's that are boosted with no problems, many of which are between 300-400whp
