Default type r turbo or gsr turbo

well i have type r in my car right now and 2000 gsr engine in my garage. i was thinking of putting about 2 Gs in my gsr and turbo it.i already have my turbo kit. but the guy that i bought the type r from said it has cams and camgears and injectors for turbo and it was turbo before. so if i turbo the type r i will put the 2 Gs in my R. so what you guy think i should do.

You're not really making much sense... But umm from what I can understand you're saying the previous owner boosted his typer motor but my question is does that motor have lower compression pistons? Because whether it be a itr or ctr motor those bad boys have some high *** compression and high *** compression isn't good for turbo, but umm in all honesty I'd just boost the r and sell the gsr motor.

no, the R's cylinder head will make more power and have a higher rev limiter

if this is your daily then i would send the GSR to get worked on, sleeves, pistons, rods, head porting. If you have time, put all those mods in the Type R.
