Default Tune up on the B18c1 Hatch

Got my swap and everything runs good, almost everything.

I am going to do a tune up, cause who knows how long the plugs and wires been there for.
Just wondering what kind of plugs and wires should I get?
And also what kind of oil should I be using? Mobil 1, Castrol, etc...

The car is quick but I feel like 1st gear does not pick up or accelerate as fast as 3rd gear. And 2nd gear does it a little to.
What do you guys think it could be or what do I need to change.
Thinking just try a tune up on plugs and wires and oil, then see what happens.
Any suggestions would help.

I love stock NGK's (R) they rock.
For wires I again love NGK's
Oil - mobile 1 is good

Needs some more info, on what do I need to replace, cause 1st gear lags and so does 2nd a little.
Could it be dirty fuel injectors, oil, spark plugs or what?

Any body had this problem?

Do your tune up...could be a number of things....plugs, distributor cap, plug wires, oil.....oh yeah throw some fuel injector cleaner in you gas tank.....

do the no brainer things first then move on to the larger picture...
