Re: tune-up? (niceguy)
Replace :
Spark Plugs
Spark plug wires
Distributor cap and rotor
Change:
Oil
Oil filter
Transmission fluid
fuel filter*That's just me*
Adjust valve lash**
Flush your coolant and insert new one***
** See qualified personel, that can do it for cheap or free if you are not capable.
***You might need to take the car to an specialist if you wish to do a total system flush as I beleive when coolant is emptied there are still residues of the old colant around the engine and its beneficial to get it all out.

Re: tune-up? (In The 16s)
It really all depends on how hard you run your car.
In all reality the coolant flush is supposed to be done every 50k miles along with the valve adjustment, transmission fluid, and distributor cap and rotor. That's under normal driving conditions.
When people mention tune up this is what i consider it to be.

Re: tune-up? (Alberto El Bellaco)
when you mention transmission fluid, this is for automatic trans only right? manuela trans shares the oil from the engine.
