im coming upon 5,000 miles of being boosted, was wondering what you guys do for maintience?

heres what ive done so far, please feel free to add on

-change spark plugs and oil (every 3,000)
-replace cap/rotor
-checked for leaks
-checked couplers/piping
-compression tested


anything else im missing?

 

radiator and tranny flush, is what ive recently done

leak checks are the biggest part.

Aside from regular maitenance I don't see what else. Spark plugs and oil get changed more often because of the turbos heat and the colder heat range of the plugs

 

Make sure you oil return line isn't leaking nor the rubber hose getting to soft.

 

i change spark plugs ~ 4-5k miles
rotor/cap 15-20k
wires - used to be 15k.. i might do 25-30k on this set.. they just don't seem to be worn out every time i replace them.
valve adjustment 15-20k (replace vlve cover seal, spark plug seals etc)
fuel filter ~30k
air filter ~5k-7k
transmission oil ~15k
engine oil 2k w/ conventional.. might do 3k-4k with synthetic
oil filter every second oil change which used to be 4k
coolant - 15-20k
check replace pcv valve every 10-15k

turbo related problems:
extract/replace snapped/broken/loose wastegate elbow bolts - every 5-7k miles
