(similar sound to shaking an empty spraycan) comming from the tranny... dident think much of it untill i hit a red light... the shifter wouldent move into 1st or 2nd.... after movin around a bit i finally got into 1st and took off... i hear a loud clicking noise.. i pull over and try pushin the car... it moves a few feet and the wheels lock up... i checked the axles and they seem to be fine... does this just mean my tranny is F*!#ed... if anyone has an input id apperciate it thanks...!

You have internal damage to the tranny, the only way to tell you what it is, is to pull the thing apart and take a peek inside.

Could be anything from a shift fork snaped, to a broken syncro to a few teeth of a gear busted off.
