There should be two dowels on the motors that the tranny slides onto, thats all there is to that part (besides making sure the clutch disc is centered for the input shaft). Use honda-bond ($12 a tube) for the gasket material on the tranny, anywhere .

Permatex Grey is practically the same and cheaper. The clutch pkg should come with an alignment tool...use it!

man...when I first read your thread, I thought you were a tranny who needed help.
Then I find out that you needed help with your transmission...and you MAY or MAY NOT be a tranny. What a rip off.
Anyway, just make sure that the splines line up (duh). Dont jiggle the trans up and down. Rotate the trans slightly to make the splines line up. Then re-rotate it back into the correct position. There will be dowel pins for alignment.
Now...are you a tranny or not?

The hard part is getting the clutch lined up the first time.
tip; I use the long motor mount bolts to hold the tranny aligned with the block and clutch. Then replace with the tranny bolts as I get the tranny close to the block.
