Tire opinions/suggestions please
time for some tires, i still have the stock 14" wheels on my 95 civic ex and i'm lookin at some high performance all season tires,so heres what i'm thinkin...
Dunlop SP Sport A2
Yokohama Avid H4
Bridgestone Potenza RE950
BFGoodrich Comp T/A HR4
Toyo Proxes H4
no Azenis either, i need somthin that will grip in rain and snow
stock size on my car is 185/60/14 but i was thinkin of getting some 195/60/14 for a little bit better grip, but if anyone has any other ideas or comments or knows where to get some good deals let me know, thanks...

I know that with a tight budget, it's hard to afford certain things...
But, it's not worth spending that much money on all seasons. If the area that you live in has snow, I would just get the cheapest all seasons or winter tires you can find, and then save up for a set of performance tires for the summer along with some nice wheels.
These days, a nice set of 15's can be had with good rubber for around 5-600 bucks used and in good condition...no tax.
Spending $75 bucks a tire new, you're already at $300 bucks or more for just all seasons...plus tax.
But it's up to you. According to that list, I would probably go with the Avid H4. Not for performance really, but because it's got a very high tread wear rating at 360. If it's not going to perform great, it might as well last a super long time right?

I would go with a set of Blizzaks mounted to steelies for winter driving (~$400), and then you can have any kind of summer high performace tire on your other rims. That is what I do and I live in southeast lower Michigan.

Re: Tire opinions/suggestions please (TurboSedan)
kinda narrowed it down to:
Bridgeston Potenza RE950
Yokohama Avid H4
Dunlop Sport A2
cost wise they are all within 10 bucks of eachother so they are all pretty much the same, anyone else have any of these or any more opinions?
