Timing Adjustment Help.....d16y7 motor
I had my timing light on the car today.....and i dont know what the expletive im doing lol....i thought i could learn it by myself but im confused on the marking of the crank pully
I can see its like this
where should my arrow be? the arrow or V should be?
As of righthow it looks like this

If you konw where its supoosed to be at let mek now i have searched didn find anything,
I have a 1997 Honda Civic Sedan 4 door
stock motor....

why do you need to check timing anyway? you off a tooth or something?
but anyway jump your timing connector, i believe for your car its below the passenger dash near the ecu. should be coming off a wire harness.
use a paper clip, cotter pin or w/e....
start your car and warm it up. get your timing light out set your timing light at 16 degrees. the pointer on the timing cover should line up with the red mark. if its a bit off, move your dizzy. thats it...
