Default timing

this might sound stupid, but, how do i check my timing on my civic.. its a d15b7.
and if i find out its off... how do i adjust it?

thats all i need to know so any help is appriciated

have you tried a timing light or anyhting, is the car acting up causeing you to think its timing related?
