Default For those with GSR brakes on their EK....

I just bought a full GSR brake swap for my EK. I mainly bought these for the rear disk, however I would like to eventually put the GSR fronts onto my Civic.

My question is, which parts do I need for the brake swap on the front?

I have all the parts in the above diagram, would I need them for the swap or can I use the stock Civic DX knuckle and upper arms?

I also read on another post (can't seem to find it anymore) that if I did use the GSR knuckles, that they would be a tad on the long side and would cause excessive positive camber, can anyone confirm this?

Thanks

thanks for the reply!

Yeah, actually they DO look a little longer to me (maybe just a perspective thing).

If I can reuse my old upper control arm, I guess I can get some 96-00 Civic adjustable control arms to fix the camber problem (if I get that problem).

Can anyone confirm if anyone has camber issues after installing the swap?

you HAVE to reuse your civic upper control arms. how the upper control arm mounts to the frame is completely different on ek civics.

ya all u need to do is swap in the entire DC knuckle, and reuse the stock upper a-arms. And yes, u will notice a more + camber than u had before. I had to get my car completely realigned after this swap. In the rears i didnt even need the camber kit anymore after the rear GSR swap.

to eliminate the positive camber issues..slam the **** out of your car..like i did and got it aligned..and i still have a good 2 degrees negative camber lol

it could be a knuckle off a civic ex or si as well

FYI: its just integra brake swap, not gsr. All integras have the same brakes
