Thinking about buying a 96 Hatch and putting the JDM Type R motor in
My question is this. Where do I buy the parts? Are most of them fabricated special to fit the engine and the car? Let me know.

for this swap, all you need is some wiring, tranny bracket, and the rear bracket from the 99-00 SI.
If you're interested on purchasing this swap, please feel free to give us a call at the office for further info.
thank you

Re: Thinking about buying a 96 Hatch and putting the JDM Type R motor in (Prodigy 2.2 EK)
I know what I need, I mean performance parts. Do I buy the exhaust for the car or the motor, or does everything need to be custom?

if you go b18 or b16 in an ek for exhaust you can use, JDM 4-1 header, SMS cat, SI b pipe or custom 2.5 " and any axleback exhasut made for hatchbacks.... everything will bolt str8 up..
