Default Sway Bars on cx

I just upgraded my suspension to KYB GR2s and H&R race springs.
Cornering is much improved. But there is still too much body roll for my liking. So next i was thinking about getting sway bars. I'm probably going to go with the 21mm skunk2 with a beaks kit in the back. But what do i do for the front? Do i have to custom install an si one? What do you guys suggest for the front?

edit: 98 civic cx.

if you want a front you need either 92-95 ex/si LCA's or del sol Si/VTEC LCA's or 94-00 Integra LCA's. then you can get the front sway bar from any of these cars. or another route is the suspension techniques kit for the CX/DX which makes the swaybar go under the exhaust and it will hook up with the stock LCA's. i went with the ST kit for a 92-95 EX/Si and got new LCA's just because i didn't want the swaybar hanging under the exhaust. you really don't have to have a front sway bar though. alot of guys don't run them in the front.

Since your car is a 98 CX, you can't have a new front one, cause you don't have a front one to begin with. If i were you and going to have a beefy bar in the rear, i'd do it the same tiem w/ an 99-00 Si Front or something aftermarket if you wish.

if you want to go oem, then you have two options, the 26 mm Si front sway bar or the 22 mm ex sway bar. The ex sway bar just requires you change lca's. The si bar requires you to also change the shock forks.

I put the ST kit on my girls car (98 cx hatch). It was cake. Roll is pretty much not there anymore. She's got H&R sports with tokico shocks. HTH

arggggh. I grow weary of the thought that I should be wary of my ST rear bar that I've had for two years. Despite being on VIR, and several drag tracks and to and from work every freakin day, people still try to warn me about the bars. The ST rear bracket design is similar to the ITR beaks kit. Given, its not as heavy duty, but the bar isn't as heavy duty either. You did see the picture, right?

Coming from a Subaru Driver, stiffen up the rear of your car to get your car to rotate in corners...Too much of a stiff front will lead to massive understeer and erratic steering wheel movements over bumps...The rear will also ride a little rougher as you make the independant rear suspension more of a singular unit...But thats cool as you can break the rear wheels lose and throttle steer your way around bends and turns...Its just more fun to have a stiff rear on a FWD and AWD...RWD cars is where a Front Sway Bar will be beneficial...Of course, if you do want to eliminate more body roll you will want a Front Sway Bar, just make sure you get a larger rear bar to compensate for the understeering nature of FWD's with Front Sway Bars...Understeer is engineered into these cars as that is a "Problem" that keeps drivers safer and easier to deal with than oversteer...Chassis Setup is my specialty
