Swapping an SiR cluster into a VX

just take off the 2 screws holding on the cluster trim panel.
pop out the clock or the clock plate and there will be another screw behind there. remove the screw
now pop out the trim. and remove the 4 screws holding in the cluster
pull the cluster out and remove the plugs on the cluster.
now put your new one in... in the reverse order.

doesnt the VX come with a tach???? It has a lower redline but the VX's i've seen all have tachs.

Honestly don't know, lol. The car won't be in my possession until this weekend, ordered the cluster today. So if it has a tach, everything will wire right up?

First take out the 2 screws on the black dash vents, then pull it out. Then unscrew 4 screws from the cluster, detach the plugs and switch cluster and bam!!!

Yeah I have a VX and the tach went only to 8000. I need the extra 400, so I got an EG6 cluster. I love it.
pop out the hazard button and there will be another screw behind there. remove the screw
now pop out the trim. and remove the 4 screws holding in the cluster
pull the cluster out and remove the plugs on the cluster.
now put your new one in... in the reverse order.
