if my memory serves me correctly, no. the engine harness will hook up to your existing harness. you will have a couple of bare plugs and that's because obd2 motors use more sensor that obd1 cars don't have. but if you use a obd1 (dohc vtec) ecu you should be fine.
oh, and i believe you might have to change out the injectors, but i'm not sure. search it up, your bound to find something.

yeah well regardless i will be using 450cc injectors with my turbo kit..but yea i kno some stuff will not be used on the obd1 hardness
