i ran a search on gas milage for b18c swaps and i guess i would go out on a limb and create a new thread. I was just curious on what all yall with b18c swaps into ek's and eg's get for mileage. being a daily driver or not, thanks yall

93 si Jdm B18c-r swap Pretty much stock. Kenji chipped ecu, i/e.

25/32 mpg. I think my hwy mileage would be better if I drove at 78mph instead of 82-83.

Vehicle weight is around 2400.

95 EX Coupe Jdm B18c-r swap Pretty much stock. Kenji chipped ecu, i/e. Get about 27 mpg. Pretty much all driving on Maui is highway. But I have something of a lead foot...

If I go a full tank trying hard to drive like a grandma, I get around 35 mpg, but what's the fun in that?

I recently filled up the tank and reset the odometer.. So far I did 240 miles and the needle is right on the red line (GSR cluster)... I filled up the tank when the needle was in the same place and I put in 8 gallons, so theres 2 gallons left..

In this time I didn't do anything to try to "save" gas.. Beat the **** out of the car most of the time... Not too bad considering the motor is a 94 b18c1 and the rings are letting tons of oil through.. Im running a stock p28 ecu with a fields VAFC.. dumping around 8-10% more fuel from 5-8k... vtec at 4500..

The car is a VX with a lot of integra parts on it.. including suspension and front end.. so i doubt its close to stock weight..

i've got a stock 95 JDM b18c in a 94 EJ1 and am getting about 20-23mpg all city (i don't get on the freeway much).

if anybody's got any suggestions on how to get that number up, i'd really appreciate it, but i'm keeping the 205's

motor is running like ****, going to get tuned eventually. just not seeing the power that comes w/ a ITR swap.

I'm thinking about doing a CRV swap in a civic, but the gas milage is bad. Being that I will be putting it in a lighter car, would my gas milage be better than the CRV itself. If anyone can please help.

Got the same but a EJ2 (DX model) and i get about the same mileage on the street and get about 33-35 on hwy. I have a heavy foot when it comes to daily driving.

Yes, provided that you drive accordingly.

Driving style is what affects fuel economy the most. If you have a lead foot, you're going to see some crappy fuel economy.

Also, using a longer geared transmission - although your car will accelerate slower - will allow for better fuel economy under normal driving conditions.

&lt;--- B18C1 in a 94 Si hatch, Drag III turbo kit, 440cc injectors, Mugen twin-loop, no cat, Hondata tuned.

I get 25-35mpg depending on temperature and driving habits (freeway driving). People don't believe me, but lately, since it's been hot out, I've been getting 35mpg.

Edit: I drive ~ 100 miles a day, all freeway, mostly granny-style driving since I don't want a ticket or worse, *knock on wood*, a smog ref appointment.

my boosted h22 in my 95 Si hatch just got 220 to the tank...and its runining rich so after some tuning...i think gas mileage will be decent...for what it is...

94 hatch with gs-r swap with b16 tranny and pyr chip ecuI got 190-200 miles to a tank (19-21 mpg)
same hatch with ls/vtec and b16 tranny i got about the same. On the hwy, i get about 220-230 to a tank. I'm really thinking that the b16 tranny is the reason why i'm not getting as good gas milage as other people especially on the hwy. The rpm stay about 4200 when i'm on the hwy at around 70.

my VAFC shows 3000 when im doing 65 with the GSR tranny.. cluster shows about 3300..
