Icon2 Swaping mounts

I have a 97 civic ex i was going to put a obd1 b16a motor in and didnt know if i had to go online to buy a $250 pair of motor mounts.. I wouldn't mind checking into what stock mounts or what not i would be able to use.... if anyone can help or have a site that would fill in the blanks.

Unless it doesn't come with mounts or the ones it comes with are bad there's no need to buy new ones. Unless you just want to upgrade an obd1 engine's mounts are no different from an obd2.

I thought that the mounts was different like the trans mount is different or eg mounts dont align right.

Not that I know of. If it is then you can just buy a tranny mount seperate. but i really don't think so.

you can use your stock mounts. But if you have some busteds or the car going to be turbo or drag race get a set of aftermarkets.

The only mount you will have to change is the rear T bracket mount. You can get it out of a 99-00 SI. You'll also need to make sure the driver's side mount is correct - there are 2 and 3 post variants.
