I've got a 94 civic sedan dx with the d15b7, failmatic. I've always had hondas in my family so i was excited to get it because I got it for 2grand in mint condition with 70,000 miles. Problem is I now have Honda fever, and this d15b7(non-vetc 105hp) and automatic trans are making me rage. Should I swap the underpowered d15, will it be worth it? If so what swaps would be best and most affordable? I guess if I were to swap the engine it'd make sense to change the trans of to manual but if I could save some money I wouldn't mind an auto just as long as teh engine had more beef. Would it even be worth doing all this ****? Or should I just save up money(all current funds are going to state of NJ and lawyers)and then convince my dad to let me sell it or loan teh cash? Opinions are greatly appreciated.

yeah sell it, I know. Wish I had been more assertive and into the Honda scene b4 I got the car. POS oldsmobile 88royale was totaled and after a few months I was eager to drive and the opportunity came about. I really want a hatch, some real nice **** in the marketplace just wish I had the dough.

Easy answer, sell it, and keep saving until you have enough for another car with a manual transmission, little more power.

swap it. Do some research you can make a decent car out of her for fairly cheap. If you sell it though you could buy something that was already swapped , save some headaches, and normally you can get them already swapped for a lil less cash.
