really i just put the 17's on the car about 2 weeks ago and it was rubbing the tire while i was driving so i had to roll in the fender well a little bit my friends told me to shave the fender in some because when i have someone in the passenger seat it rubs worse.

i would recommend that you get some struts because if they are leaking now you are going to start hearing noise while you drive it because there is no fluid left in the strut.

Well back when I was stupid and tried to run stock struts with my springs , it lasted about 1 week and the driver rear went out, Plus they suck so I got better ones. But yea, it sat lower with the blown strut. Buy good struts!
