Engine misses at low rpms? Weird CEL? Please Need Expert Help.
For some reason when under 3k my d16y8 misses. On acceleration, it speeds up but its a jerky accel, hesitant. I cleaned out my iacv, didnt help. After a while of driving it throws a CEL, when i go to check it it flashes real quick, once, its obd1. Can anyone help?

Did you replace your precat O2 sensor? I know it shouldn't have one being OBD1, but maybe it is a obd1 conversion? If you use the wrong kind of O2 sensor (precat or cat) it can cause that problem in an OBD2 car...

interesting, when we took the o2's out of my y7 we didnt mark cat or pre. I have a universal o2 i will try and see if it makes a difference. I will post results.

damn, no good. Still hesitates like a 4 yr old child. Took off the fuel filter cause i read somewhere if its clogged it can cause hesitation at low rpms. About to go get a new one, ill let you know if that solves it.
