New Suspension, Uneven Car?
I just upgraded the suspension on my 1999 Civic Sedan. KYB AGX shocks and Vogtland Springs. I noticed today or about two days later that the passenger side of the car seems to sit several milimeters lower than the passenger side, and yes no one is in the car when I measured. When I hit shallow dips it rubs the inner fender well the right does occasionally. So my question is, what can it be? It is obviously that the driver side has more stuff on it than the passenger but that much to create a slightly more negative drop?

did you make sure to put on the springs as Front and rear...
i'm going to laugh if you put both fronts of the right side of the car
its not uncommon for new suspension to be a little high/uneven at first... still needs to be broken in a little bit

Trust me the springs are in the right positions. I took my time with this upgrade to ensure all the proper steps were taken, however I have heard and seen some cars that have had them put on wrong, I live in a town full of kids throwin rims and choppin there springs to look cool.

i have eibach sportlines on my agx's and the drivers side sits lower.
there is abouta 2 finger gap on drivers side, 4 or 5 on the passenger side.
need more coilover i guess

True, but the settling in that the suspension will do is very minimal at best.

I dont have thats much of a gap were talkin mm, I am however considering some eibachs instead... then i wont have to worry about rubbing and can set the rear camber where it should be nstead of somewhat negative to avoid "the rub". Anyone got any pictures of theirs civic on the pro kit springs?

I measured and would say its about 3/16th's of an inch probably a little less. i need to get my car aligned sometime next week. I like how it looks but going over slight bumps while on the highway sometime causes a quick scrape with the tire hitting the inside plastic fender well shield. Anyone got any pictures or anywhere to point me to what a civic looks like on a eibach pro kit?

Weird that you say this, because I was trying to set my car completely even with my koni/gc/eibach setup. And I measured the front two shocks and hte back two to make sure the coilovers were set exactly the same. Drop the car down, and bam. The car sat lower on the passenger side. Pissed me off and made me clueless. I ended up just raising up the pass. side more even though it didn't make sense.

make sure they gave you the same springs. I once got a set that is two different springs but same brand. The car will uneven and i was pissed because i had to take the whole suspension out and redo everything again.

Re: (hmtcrxsir)
Yah I verified the part numbers right on the springs. I do have a nitrous bottle in the trunk about half full... but that shouldnt be enough to bring it down that much should it? I know I weigh just over 150 lbs so when I am driving I could understand that side slightly lower but not empty.

yea thats how my sat, which is why i got adjustable and fixed that right up. (ksport ftw)
maybe u have more weight on that specific side, my first though was that the gas tank is on the left side so it makes the car lean left a little bit

205 40 r17. That's the size I'm running. It's as close to stock you can get with a 17" wheel.

Thanks for your help on this stuff, I am still contemplating eich pro kit. I know its a compromise either be low and rub or be a little higher and not rub. Opinions?
