Stock shift arrow on Hx acting weird!
My friend has a 97 civic HX and whenever I drive it, I'm in any gear about 2k, and the arrow lights up telling me to shift. If it helps, me and my friend tear the **** out of it...almost all the time...he doesn't care and it's still the stock SOHC Vtec-E
Thanks

Re: (xCIVICx)
Mine goes on low too, i have a CX.
Who cares, dith it annd get a EX/Si cluster......that light is just dumb and annoying imo.
It does go on at low RPM though. I dont think Honda realized when you shift when the light goes on the enignes are so crappy they bog to hell.......whatever though

Re: (pdiggitydogg)
It doesn't just read RPM because I've never had the shift light go on in 5th for my CX. It will tell me to shift into 5th at like 35 every so often. And it goes out once you really start revving it up too... so you won't burn a bulb out either. Good luck trying.
I like it though... I would like to keep it even after the GSR swap so if there is anyway to let me know.
Thanks, Shaun

Re: (xCIVICx)
I say wire a real RPM wire to it and like a custom pill to go on whatever RPM you want it to go on at....it can be done, i seen a guy wire his engine light as his shift light, very cool.....
