Default Spindle nut

Thx for responding on my last post fellas! I appreciate ya'll!

Anybody have any tips on loosening the spindle nut so I can free the axles? Its kinda rusty down there. Its also about 40 degrees in my garage, but I dont know if thats the problem, my weak *** can't budge s#*t. Air gun ( 90psi max) doesn't budge either!

I apreciate your help!

make sure its not bent in the notch to lock it on the axle ....and it should come out with an air gun...

My freind had the same problem earlier this week. This is how I did it!!!

Torque Wrench w/breaker bar extension,32mm socket, Have some one press the brakes, attach the bar, and stand on that bitch till you break the nut off! This took me a total of 2 minutes and voila!!!! Now you can move on!!!

I hope you never plan on that torque wrench being accurate.

Torque wrenches are not breaker bars. This is how you mess them up.

get a breaker bar, pop the center cap out, drop the car down, stand on the breaker bar jump whatever you have to do, to get it loose.

all of this is after you unstake the axle nut though

32mm Impact socket, and a 3ft breaker bar. No problems.

Okay. But when you just dropped the engine in the damper fork and ball joint is already out so that makes this process shitty!

I guess that means put it together for a more secure and sturdy challenge??

I slip my floor jack handle over my braker bar and stand on it.

I use a 24" breaker bar and my arms

Don't even bother with an impact. It took me 15 minutes for ONE nut on ~275 psi. I used the breaker bar with no snipe on the next one and it broke loose with 5 seconds of pulling, and have done it this way since. If you're a pansy () just put a 2-4 foot snipe over the bar and it shouldn't be a problem. Lifting 100lbs with a 10 foor bar will get you 1000ftlbs of torque biotch!!
