Speedometer problem
98 LX-G Civic.
Speedometer moves when it's on idle. Circles all the way around.
Car is running fine but I don't if the guages are all accurate.
I pulled the odometer counter and when i tried to put it back I got this problem.
Thanks for the help

Re: Speedometer problem (CivicBoi)
Check connections... sometimes strange things can happen if the connection is open. Make sure the connectors are properly seated. Visually inspect the plastic circuit material on the back of the cluster for broken connections. Verify that the speed pulse signal is getting to the cluster by backprobing the speedometer signal wire with a digital multimeter and watching for any sort of voltage increase with speed. Other than that, you've ruined the speedometer; get a new one.
