Default Bouncing Speedometer

Help! I own a 94 4door civic and today i was driving down hwy
and looked down to check my speed n it dropped to 0 then came back up then did it again anyone ever had this problem? could it be a loose connection? any help would be appreciated o and i did search...

Sounds like a bad connection at the sensor, had this happen to me, I had to wire a new connector on. The sensor is located towards the firewall on the top side of the transmission, it has 3 wires.

check the vehicle speed sensor if its bad or not and the connection if its tight. if yes, then you have a bad cluster. my speedo did that on me just 3 weeks ago and it was the cluster

i had the infamous bouncing tach in my infiniti...it was a bad cluster

I had the same problem with no CEL. It was the speedometer. It wasn't tighten well behind the cluster (from removing it before).

mine was a bad cluster when that happened as well.

Mine was the VSS. I swapped in a D15 unit and it works fine.

i had the same issue it happened to be a loose ground check ur grounds
