This is on a 98 ek with a b16a. The tach, temp and gas gauge are all working on the cluster however the speedometer isnt working and vtec is not engaging. I checked the fuse for the VSS and its fine. I saw that the sensor pluge into a piece that is screwed into the trans. What is the next step changing that sensor ? If so what part do i get because no honda here carries stuff for a b16 vtec del sol.

you can search here and the part will be used, and cheap. Im not sure on B series but the vss on d-series are intercgangeble if they are AT or MT 88-00 i BELIEVE. ill search for you and find a deffinate answer on your b16 and see if i can find one for you..

You can use any vss. A friends of mine co-worker says he is using a z6 vss on his b16.
