Speed Sensor Going Bad?

Default Speed Sensor Going Bad?

When I start my car up sometimes the speedo jumps up real quik, then goes back to zero, then when I am driving about 60mph and punch the gas the speedo needle jumps around up to 80 and back down above 60 and so forth.....and suggestions?

Id like to know to. My wifes 95 ex accord does that 2. My eg started doing the same exact thing. But the wires were backing out of the plastic harness so i just fixed the harness that plugs into the speed sensor.

if the odometer is working, it could just be the needle going bad....in this case replace gauge cluster. hope it work
