Default spark plug install issue, antisezze?

i put in some new plugs in my y7 and i didn't use that antisezze stuff around the threads, will i come into problems later on if i don't put some on their thanks

it is not a necessity but it helps a little. as long as they were installed correctly, youll be ok.

Its not required but may help you out of a bind later down the road....maybe you should just get a lil on there...its only a few bucks.

i use a light coat. keeps em from seizing in there and wearing out the threads

it's a good idea,but as long as you don't leave them in there for 10 years,they'll come back out no problem.i never use it on my plugs.i do use it on rear LCA shock mount bolts though!

i have never had a problem but it is an aluminum head, anti-seaze is only about 7 bucks. If you pull the threads out of the head next time you change your plugs you're going to be kicking yourself in the ***. its worth the ten minutes to torqe them and add the anti-seaze.

just curious, what happens if you would strip those threads out? that couldn't just be retapped could it? even if you could, a spark plug would be too small; and i don't think heli coil makes kits that big. wow that would suck to have to replace a whole cylinder head because of something stupid like that.

anyone ever had this happen?
